F A S H I O N // Céline shades

It’s not summer until I’ve bought a new pair shades!

I’m so desperate for sunshine, sandals and sun cream that I’ve started my seasonal sunglasses hunt a month early. You’re all probably bored to death with me banging on about summer all the time, but I know some of you will be sharing my frustration! One hint of sun and I throw on my birks and head straight to my nearest pub garden, only to be fooled by the misleading temperature. It’s bloody FREEZING here and I’m so confused. Last weekend was so warm I thought I’d celebrate by going for a run ( not a great idea in hindsight) yet yesterday morning I  had to de-ice my car?!

What’s happening?! All those weirdo’s who didn’t believe in global warming will be eating their words now…

In the bid to lure the summer ever closer I’ve started the long awaiting hunt for this years’ perfect pair of shades. I uhmmed and ahhed over the mirrored Victoria Beckham aviators,  cried over the perfection of valleyeyeeyewear’s snow leopard frames until finally, finally these Céline beauties found their way onto my desk.
They’re oversized but not in that huge bug-eyed way, which I think is a good thing. The tortoiseshell is bang up to date and the wide arms give an interesting twist to what would be quite a classic shaped frame. To sum it up simply, I’m in love
