I am however finding it very hard to juggle my new job (complete with wonderful 5am starts), with finding the time to do everything else I love- drawing, painting and designing- not to mention studying and exercising.
Seriously though, I get in from work and just face plant my bed for the whole evening I'm that tired. But hopefully I'll get used to the routine, and I'll be back to my usual multi tasking self in no time!
For the last few weeks however, my appreciation for my favourite bloggers has reached a whole new level- what else would I do on my commute if they weren't there to read every morning?!
I know everyone has their favourites- and I mean the ones that you obsessively check daily...hourly?.. despite knowing they haven't actually posted anything new, and almost wetting yourself when they eventually appear on your dashboard. You know, the ones you feel are already your best friends (despite never having said a word to), that you secretly wish were you, or wish you were with... These are the bloggers I'm talking about. I have many, but the three I'm going to talk about here are the ones whose perfection I will happily spend my morning train journeys crying over (only a slight exaggeration)... Enjoy!
1. Iris and Daniel of we have no style
I am not exaggerating when I say these two make me weep on an almost daily basis. From their impeccable styling to their perfect layouts (seriously their blog is worth checking out for the editing alone), they somehow manage to inspire me in a way no other blog has been able to.
Perhaps it's something to do with their very down-to-earth approach to both dressing and writing I'm not sure, but if I feel like I could relate to anyone in the fashion blogging world, it would be these two.
I can't be easy sharing a blog with someone else- or maybe I'm just too controlling to imagine it- but they just look so good together! It must be an incredible feeling to find a friend who just 'gets' what you're doing, and I feel like these two have that with each other...
Oh, and they have this magical thing going on where they can pull off literally anything- especially Daniel- he always looks incredible.
They also have a Tumblr for which they take turns in posting their current inspirations/ obsessions-- well worthy of a follow :)
2. Ivania Carpio of Love- aesthetics
I'd be very much surprised if Ivania didn't make it onto almost everyone's list of favourite bloggers. She's doing something really quite amazing at the minute (which yes, a lot of people are trying to re-create), but she is by far the current queen of the minimal world.
Ivania, I bow to you
I much as I love her sense of 'less is more' (I think we all could learn a lot from her in terms of fast fashion and waste), but what I really love are her DIY projects. Anyone who is willing to share their passion for creating with the world, and who strive to inspire thousands of others to revel in their creativity is worthy of my utmost respect.
On an almost daily basis I see her giving advice to young teenagers who are struggling to define themselves in terms of their style, and it's wonderful to see someone encouraging them to just be bold and creative, to wear whatever the hell they want regardless of how others perceive them..
Where was she when I was thirteen?!
Follow her on Tumblr for more snapshots of her outfit and DIY posts (and the odd photo of her beautiful boyfriend)...
3. Kri of Kri fashion+beauty+lifestyle
My initial reaction after discovering Kri's blog earlier this year was "OH MY GOD, finally someone who can actually manage my hairstyle"! It was fate, and I've been an avid fan of her blog ever since.
For someone who openly admits that she "barely knows shit" about fashion, her styling is amazing and she always always looks incredible. Sometimes I actually think she's so cool that she scares me a little bit, but that doesn't stop me from admiring absolutely every outfit she puts together- and she always looks so effortless, sigh.
But she's not just one of those OOTD blogs (thank God)- her hair tutorials are some of the best I've come across, and I especially love her G-dragon and Zelo inspired videos, a must watch for anyone who needs the occasional motivation to style their shaved head (ie me)...
I'm also a fan of her incredibly blunt "I don't give a fuck, this is me" style of writing, which just makes me feel like I can relate to everything she talks about, and I'm not gonna lie- I'm pretty sure I have a massive crush on this woman...
You can also find her Tumblr hereeeee
There are obviously 45990033000 other blogs that I absolute adore, but unfortunately I neither have the time (nor patience) to write about every single one! I will however leave you with my two favourite girls Amy and Michaela who will probably continue doing a much better job at regularly updating than myself! Plus I always love reading what they're up to now that I'm no longer living with and stalking them 24/7...
I'll write again in another million years
Lots of looveee Hannah
So inspirational! Thanks for sharing:) xx
