Silk and Chiffon

So finally I'm able to share my final print outcomes- this all seems so rushed doing it all at once, but oh well. Although it's not so clear in either of these photos I had a few of my favourite designs printed onto a range of cotton lawn, chiffon and silk. The silks I found actually really beautiful, my favourite being the one featuring a hand-drawn close up of a knitting sample I had created (the fabric in the middle in the photo below)..
It's just a shame the sample's were quite small, however I do plan to make some form of (head)scarves with them at some point this summer, so at least they won't go to waste :)
The photo above is another of the final pieces I created for this particular module. I used one of my larger repeat print designs in a little jacket, which actually turned out pretty well considering I'd never made anything similar before.. (Also, please ignore my awkward pose, I'm kinda crap in front of a camera)..
