Our second year began with a visit to the Yorkshire sculpture park, where I was very much influenced by the work of Andy Goldsworthy. Throughout my initial research above, I focused mainly on experimenting with line, form and tone similar to that of his natural sculptures. This research went on to inspire a year long project based around the clustered arrangements of brick work used in dry stone walls.
