F A S H I O N / Finlay & Co

I finally had the pleasure of describing the Finlay & Co sunglasses yesterday (soon to go live on the Harvey Nichols website), and as I'm such a fan of their designs I thought I'd share the love here :)
Finlay & Co are an iconic eyewear brand inspired by British design and heritage. What I love the most about their sunglasses is the use of natural materials- layers of maplewood and polished hardwood give their designs such an organic and natural appearance- plus they smell really good (I'm the freak that goes around smelling new things)... With 16 steps of meticulous craftsmanship the fine quality is a given; from the contrasting interior colouring to the minimal engraved logo, every detail has been greatly considered and as a result creates a beautifully paired down pair of sunglasses. Plus I'm sure you all know how much I love a brand with a good aesthetic- one quick glance at their website proves they're a pretty creative team with impeccable taste. One of the biggest turn-offs for me is a company who can't follow through with their creative vision. Please purrlleasee every one take a leaf out of Finlay & Co's book and try and make your shit look good. Thanks.
My personal favourites would have to be between the ebony Beaumont's (see my photo above somewhere) and the walnut thurloes.. a tough decision!
They'll be available to purchase online via the Harvey Nichols website very soon, so keep checking! I know I'll be picking up a pair as soon as payday arrives! If only it'd stop raining so I could actually enjoy them!
