N°2 Snowdrop

I missed my favourite part of winter this year- snowdrops. Due to the sad and stressful start to my new year, I completely forgot about my favourite flowers. There's a patch of them that grows in our garden every year, and despite being so small and insignificant, they look so pure and beautiful next to the rest of the barren garden. Looks like I'll have to wait until next year (unless by some miracle they decide to bloom this month).
In an attempt to make up for my loss I tried to recreate that feeling of purity with the whitest jumper I own. Apparently you shouldn't wear a a high necked anything if you have anything less than a swans neck, but I say fuck it. They're warm and snuggly and elegant and I now own three in white, grey and navy. Winter comforts at their very best!

I also wanted to take this opportunity to finally share my birthday present (ahem, to myself). Now, I have never ever bought a piece of designer anything, and don't plan to again for a very long time. I didn't have money growing up, and anything I did earn I spent on art supplies and charity shop finds, so this still feels like a huge luxury to me! This little Jil Sander beauty will be kept by my side for (I hope) a good few years. Plus, I got it in the Harvey Nichols sale for an absolute steal, it would have almost been criminal if I hadn't bought it!
So, now that my first "working girl" extravagant purchase is over, I can get back to spending the rest of my wages on rent and car insurance. Yeyyyyy :(
