As beautiful as this shirt looks however, when it arrived I was a little disappointed. As boring as this will sound, I just expected a plain old digital print. I find shirts uncomfortable enough to wear at the best of times without them being unnecessary adorned with print and embellishment. So to discover that this was a fine mesh with a heavily printed pigment over the top was a little disheartening. The effect is beautiful don't get me wrong and anyone with a print and textiles background will cry with joy over something that hasn't just been whipped up on photoshop, but I'm not kidding when I say this kinda made my skin crawl when I slipped it on.
Imagine buttoning yourself into a freezing cold raincoat that somehow makes you feel as though you're standing in the middle of the Amazon rainforest. Not a great combination I assure you. Which is perhaps why I look so miserable in the pictures?
Alas... my quest for the perfect cracked print shirt continues, although I am tempted to keep this one and just hang it on my wall...

Aw that's a shame about the skirt-but yes it does look so beautiful!
