There's nothing better than coming home from a long, painful run, throwing off your running shoes and flinging some fruit in the blender.
Exercising gives me such a feeling of cleanliness and purity, as though I'm actually sweating out every piece of cake or slice of pizza I've ever eaten. Of course this isn't actually happening, but it's makes me feel good imagining it.
Recently (now the weather's slightly warmer and the days a lot longer), I've been making the most of my evenings and taking well earned jogs around the woods.
And there is no better feeling than chugging down a crisp glass of fresh fruit afterwards. My current favourite smoothie combination is a simple raspberry, blueberry, banana and soya milk combination. These photos were taken after a quick run Saturday morning :) If any one has any other recipes feel free the post them! The more combinations to experiment with, the better!
